Each doll has its own name and personality. Meet Irk, Giggle and Grin...
Maddy dolls are made by Barrington High student Cassandra Hradil of Hearsay Creations Also made by Cassandra are her hand woven scarves. Check them out in the store!
Fawn from Fancy and Co makes these absolutely beautiful, detail oriented paper flowers with antique buttons. The flowers are made of carefully folded papers and are sold either with a stem or loose. I have a few of these scattered around the store, love them as a year round solution for a vase.
I am a little in love with the beautiful little pouches of seaglass soaps. Perfect little accessory for your guest bath or a small hostess gift. $6.00 each
I thought that yesterday receiving 20 funky flasks in the mail would be the highlight of my week. Turns out today is just as fantastic! Shara Porter Designs sent an amazing mix of leather goods for the store. Check out these pics below and see just how fabulous she is...
Swish may have swayed a bit from the "Local" rule for these bad boys. Really though, it could not be resisted! These flasks made by Girls & Gags are just itching to be hidden in my purse... Bad girl style.
Almost one week open and Swish is looking pretty good!
Customers seem pleased to have another store join the Water Street neighborhood and even more pleased to see that all is crafted by local artisans!
Personally, I love being across the street from Stella Blues. The outdoor patio directly across the street is great and gives the feel of a Nantucket restaurant near the water!
In the New England weather tradition we had rain, heavy winds and perfect sun. It turns out that it was easiest to do this with a cloudy sky. The glare was so bright when the sun was shining that it was nearly impossible to put up.
The lovely patrons sitting on the patio at Stella Blue's across the street watched the process. Good and bad! If you want to check out Stella Blues website it is: http://www.stellabluesri.com/
